This is my Bio written for a Lecture I gave at the World Tea Expo.
  
  Sean O’Leary is a tea taster and China origin specialist for Rishi Tea. Aside from buying tea for Rishi, he is a graphic designer and photo-journalist. He began his career in photojournalism at the Stevens Point Journal in Wisconsin. Sean continued his path in the visual arts and received a BFA at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) with a major in Communication Design. It was during his time at design school that he began working for Rishi Tea as an intern photojournalist, traveling to many tea producing origins with founder and CEO, Joshua Kaiser to document Rishi’s organic tea trade and sources. For the past three years Sean has been deeply immersed in the tea trade and tea culture working as a photographer, designer, and apprentice tea taster/buyer to Joshua Kaiser. Since he began working with Rishi Tea he has traveled to China several times a year to study the various tea and herb producing regions.
